Verdigris Patina Masterclass
The Little French Provincial Shop – Gundaroo NSW
9.00am – 12.30pm
There is something so beautiful about aged copper and bronze — that soft blue-green patina that only time usually creates.
In this hands-on Verdigris Patina Masterclass, I’ll show you exactly how to recreate that look yourself using Artisan Paint Company products.
If you’ve ever admired old garden urns, busts, statues or antique architectural pieces with that elegant oxidised finish, this workshop will give you the confidence to achieve it on your own pieces.
This technique is perfect for updating garden décor, decorative objects, mirrors, frames, or statement pieces — adding that refined, old-world sophistication that instantly elevates a space.
During the workshop, we’ll work step-by-step through the full process together.
You’ll learn:
• How to build the correct base layers
• How to create depth and texture
• How to apply washes to achieve natural variation
• Dry brushing techniques to highlight detail
• Subtle distressing for authenticity
• How to seal your finish properly so it lasts
I’ll guide you through the layering process so you understand not just how to do it — but why it works.
Everything is supplied. You don’t need to bring a thing.
You’ll leave with:
• A completed decor project
• A detailed technique sheet to refer to at home
• The skills and confidence to apply the finish to your own pieces
Workshops run from 9.00am to 12.30pm in our studio at The Little French Provincial Shop in Gundaroo, NSW.
And of course, there will be a beautiful morning tea — because creative mornings are always better with something delicious.
If you love aged finishes, texture, character and timeless elegance, this masterclass is for you.
I can’t wait to create with you. 🤍
